The POD was engaged to help with a “Store of the Future” pitch, where the future of in-store retail would be reimaged. One concept pitched was called “Techtopia.” The concept design is brings to life a digital playground that invites you to create in a digital wonderland. We wanted to create a design that invokes a childlike sense of wonder and nostalgia for creative play. The store of the future could be like a toy store, while also serving as a trusted resource to learn about technology and digital. There is whimiscal type and bright type to make this feel energetic, with subtle grid lines akin to architectural note books, waiting for ideas and creations to live wthin it’s pages.
